Chefs Raymond and Laura McDonald met while at The Culinary Institute of America, in Hyde Park, New York. Following graduation they moved to Rochester, New York where Ray did third-shift artisan bread baking and Laura worked the line in a country French restaurant. By the time they moved to Cleveland, Ohio, they knew two things: they wanted to get married, and they wanted to own their own catering company. Within the same year, they did both.
