We are team Music Saves...owners Melanie and Kevin, and a black cat named Vinyl. We are an independent record store specializing in indie rock and it's extended family. Most indie releases arrive on the Friday prior to the street date, and some labels let us sell them then. Major label titles arrive on the street date on Tuesday. (don't ask us why, it's just Tuesday).

The best spot in town for indie rock and related genres. They're also great about taking special orders for other in print music that you might be looking for. MUSIC SAVES also has amazing in-store concerts and events, fun contests and giveaways, and more!

Music Saves isn't just the best record store in America, it's the best record store in the solar system. They would be the best record store on Pluto, but somehow that's not a planet anymore. Whatever.
Anyway, people, like me, who still buy vinyl for their Victrola or Fisher Price record player, know that if you're looking for hard-to-find alternative music, indie stuff, imports, or other stuff your friends hate, Music Saves is pretty much it. I only wish they had 8-tracks.
If these guys were open on Sunday, I'd skip church and find religion in the aisles of reasonably priced, but not overly produced music.
Finally, please note that there is a cat that wanders around the store. I'm allergic to cats, but make a point to load up on Claritin and coffee before stopping in. The coffee doesn't help with the allergies, but it soothes the nerves which get a little creeped out by furry things rubbing up on my ankles.
