Born in St. Louis, Missouri in 1972, Eric started playing accordion at the age of 13. Shortly after he taught himself to play the banjo,bass, button accordion, drums, and guitar.
At age 15 he played his first gig with America's Polka King Frank Yankovic, and has performed with over 30 bands since then including Eddie Blazonczyk's Versatones from Chicago.
Eric started his own band in Cleveland in 1998 and continues to travel though out the Midwest playing for dances, clubs, festivals, private and corporate parties as well as Oktoberfests playing International, Polkas, Waltzes, Ballads, Swing, Country, and Latin music. Eric mostly performs as a one man band for many of the area ballroom dances as well as private parties and festivals. Eric has performed on many Grammy nominated recordings and has received numerous awards from various polka organizations and in 2009 won the Best Polka Recording award from the Just Plain Folks Organization.
My husband loves this guy... Plays the same Christmas album over and over.
