Co-owners Jim and Mary Stamper are your hosts, a true family owned "mom & pop" shop. The main feature of the bar is the beer selection, made up of excellent choices that aren't found elsewhere, as well as beers from well known craft breweries like Dogfish Head and Sierra Nevada (Sierra Pale Ale being Stamper's go-to brew, therefore on happy hour for $2 a pint and never more than $3.50 at any given time). The atmosphere can be cozy on a slow winter night, or bustling on a busy Friday. There is a full patio dining & bar area, open year round. The staff is always friendly and ready to help the undecided beer drinkers pick their next flavor. The current menu offers a mix of pub grub and gourmet bistro style dishes at very approachable prices, and changes with the seasons. There is also a nice selection of organic beer, liquor, & wine for those interested, and Stamper's buys locally produced ingredients whenever possible to support our local economy.
