Anne E. DeChant is an American rock singer, songwriter, guitarist based in the Cleveland area. Her career began with the promising band Odd Girl Out in the early 1990's before releasing her first solo project in 1996. She is a seasoned artist that is as gutsy as she is sensitive, as subtle as she is striking, and is poised for a position on the national stage and beyond. Anne E. DeChant first caught the attention of local music fans as the charismatic frontwoman of Odd Girl Out, showcasing her astute, socially aware songs. Following the band's breakup, she went on to a busy solo career, producing four CDs, including her rock-oriented debut, "Effort of the Spin", the introspective "Something of the Soul", intimate storytellers CD, "Live, An Evening with Anne E. DeChant" and the sparkling, tuneful "Pop the Star".
