Austin's Restaurants, owned by Dan Campbell - a Cleveland native and restaurateur, began in 1994 with the opening of Austin's Smokin' Steakhouse located in Mayfield Heights. Campbell's most recent addition, Austin's Wood Fire Grille located in Brecksville, held its grand opening in October of 2002. Austin's restaurants specialize in authentic Texas cuisine cooked to perfection over mesquite fired grills. Campbell prefers to fill his menus with unique tasting food that is difficult to cook at home.

With the sweet smell of smoke in the air, it is hard to drive by Austin's without stopping in for a brisket or pulled pork sandwich. Their steaks are pretty darned good as well.
