Code Blue is Ohio's Critical Blues Band. St. Rick on Harmonica, PC on Bass, Denny James on Drums, Jocko on lead Guitar, and Ian Jones on rhythm Guitar. Notoriously the best house rockin' blues band on the circuit, Code Blue not only rocks the house, but fills the dance floor and gains new fans with every show. Having played up to 150 shows each year, Code Blue is based in Cleveland, Ohio, and until recently has concentrated on filling local venues. The band's success has encouraged them to play bigger and better venues in the upcoming months. The Code Blue Band has headlined several times at Wilbert's, one of Cleveland's premier blues, food and music clubs, as well as opening for such greats as Little Charlie and the Nightcats, Magic Slim and the Teardrops(twice), Wallace Coleman, and many others. During performances, Code Blue interacts with the audience and strives to musically please them. The Code Blue song list includes many originals, but they also pay tribute to all of the blues greats by playing the familiar hits of such artists as Wilson Picket, Robert Johnson, B.B. King, Sonnyboy Williamson, Jay Lowe, Albert Collins, Albert King, Buddy Guy, and many, many more.
